MT's Sunday Recap Episode X10

Howdy hoes and welcome to MT’s Sunday Recap Episode X10. Or XX if you want to be fancy I suppose but being fancy is overrated! This is certainly our least active week in a while, but that’s all good because Marvel vs. Capcom 3 came out this week and that’s all that really matters! We did get a few entries here and there for our MYmini as well as a moveset but yeah. Sorry MYM but you take second place to MAHVEL BAYBEE!

Our first entry of the week was for Scaffold Scuffle by Davidreamcatcha with a very humorous opening by everyone’s favorite editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson. With lots of little cameos (in the form of balloons) and some cameos from some Spiderman villians causing chaos, this stage certainly is a fun read.

Next up we had Gutsman’s Ass by Kholdstare. This pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin; it makes it so that every item in the game has a 10% chance of randomly turning into Gutsman’s Ass. Yep. . .

Up next we had our only moveset of the week; Baibanira by Kholdstare. Baibanira is one of those nifty stage control characters who causes all kinds of icy chaos by creating blizzards which give the ice cream-esque Pokemon lots of new options such as making platforms via Ice Beam or making dangerous zones in the blizzard with Mist. He’s also got some other nifty stuff like making snowmen “clones” to mimic Baibanira’s actions or freezing them solid to make solid walls. Overall reception for Baibanira was kind of limited; the Blizzard Pokemon only got one comment from Smady who said it felt a bit boring but was redeemed in part by the writing style.

Junahu then gave us a handful of Resident Evil based extras including an assist Trophy for Ada Wong, a fiend/boss battle for William Birkin and a crate enemy for the G-Larva/G-Adult. Lots of yummy RE2 love here but it could use moar giant alligator.

Finally (yeah really, already finally), we have a mini submission by Kitsuneko345 for the Cohdopian Embassy from Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. As a nifty little stage, Kits has given us a pretty big stage to play on and even gave us a spoiler free version for anyone who hasn’t played the game. Cheers Kits!

MYmini #11: The Sound of Music

An idea provided by our very own TheSundanceKid, for this MYmini, we want you you to make an extra based on a song name. This can be any extra you want but at least try to make it make sense instead of just picking a vague song/title that you can twist into any old random extra. In case you’re wondering, Sundance even provided us with an example of this idea. . .

“Ex. Maxwell’s Silver Hammer by the Beatles: A mighty hammer that does little damge if you hit enemies with it, but creates tiny earthquakes if it hits the ground.” Something like that’ll work just fine! Try and pick a song you’ll have fun with though.

And that’s all for this week peeps. Now back to Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for me ❤

Hope you enjoyed~<3

MT out!
